Mission Statement

 

Founded in 2014, the KC Courage is the longest running women's team in the Kansas City area. The KC Courage is a non-profit, volunteer run organization promoting and developing the character of young women through the sport of soccer. To this end, the KC Courage organizes a high school soccer alternative, an amateur women’s team that has competed in both the United Women's Soccer League (UWS) and  the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), and community outreaches to ensure the highest possible levels of soccer competence, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of which it is capable.

As a non-profit organization, the KC Courage relies on outside assistance to support our players and teams. Sponsorships and money donated to the KC Courage is used to offset expenses for registration fees, uniforms, trainers, equipment, travel, referee fees and field rental fees.
